Notice to Visitors 08/2021 - Rapid antigen testing at the AMC

06 December 2021

As mentioned, ACT Corrective Services (ACTCS) recently commenced a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Screening Pilot Program at the AMC. Rapid antigen tests are used as a screening tool to detect COVID-19 in people who are not showing symptoms.

All ACTCS staff, visitors (12 years old and above) and contractors are now required to undergo a rapid antigen testing as a condition of entry to the AMC. Visitors will be required to arrive 45 minutes prior to their visit time to ensure that screening does not take away from their visit time. Please note that those who refuse to undertake the test will not be able to enter the AMC.

I have attached a Frequently Asked Questions sheet that provides further information and details about rapid antigen testing and your requirements are as a visitor to the AMC.

If you have any questions regarding the testing, AMC staff and ACT Health will be available to provide further information at the time of your visit.

Kind regards

Ray
