Detainee Property

Detainees must request approval to have clothing or personal items brought for them by a visitor. This request will be approved internally, and the detainee can inform you when you are able to bring items to the Alexander Maconochie Centre (AMC).

If a detainee wishes to sign property out to a family member or friend, they must submit a request form with the person’s name, telephone number and the requested date of collection. If approved the nominated person will then be contacted by a correctional officer to confirm collection.
